Sadie Hemming

I am a recent graduate from the University of Edinburgh, where I studied BA Performance Costume. My interests in historical costume research and making have been a source of creative inspiration throughout my university experience, as well as influencing my dissertation on corsetry and the sexualisation of women in Victorian Britain. In addition to pattern drafting, I enjoy tailoring, embroidery and leatherwork, as well as constructing corsets and other undergarments.
